Mosaic of War is not a political statement. It is a testimony.

Painted between 2023 and 2025, this body of work traces the psychological landscape of a Jewish Israeli woman living in the diaspora in the aftermath of October 7 and the war that followed. Far from the front lines, and unable to look away.

The works follow an emotional arc rather than a narrative one. Fear, despair, rage, and finally a fragile turn toward something like peace. Each piece is a fragment: intimate, specific, incomplete. Together they form a mosaic of a shattered whole.

Some works are tributes — to Shani Louk, to the Bibas family, to Amit Man. They appear here not as political symbols but as people: loved, mourned, and reimagined. Others respond to destruction, to propaganda, to motherhood, to moments of reluctant faith. The twelve-part Exodus polyptych documents the hostage exchanges of early 2025, one painting for each stage of the return. The closing Angel Series is dedicated to the babies and young children murdered on October 7, painted in soft color, held in a space beyond violence.

The exhibition spans oil, watercolor, acrylic, and digital work, and draws on both spiritual iconography and images that came from news feeds and social media. It offers no resolution. Only the insistence that from a place of profound fracture, expression, memory, and dignity endure.
